The next morning began from a shrill call from Charnys, who fluttered around the building, leaving a few feathers behind. He sounded alarmed, though really that was just his rather rude method of rousing the sleeping felines. Lapsa heard him call and rolled her eyes, a snort leaving her nostrils.

Fafnir woke up with a start because of the noise, then growled out a few curses when he realized who was making them. Teirun growled as well, but put her paws over her ears and rolled over.

Layla had awoken with her fur on end, startled, causing her to whip out her dagger. She soon realized there was no real harm ad rolled her silvery eyes with a sigh.

Lapsa wandered into the room. 'My apologies for the rude awakening. He is a rather straightforward bird. He can leave the wrong impression sometimes.' She shrugged.
"Lapsa, my dear, don't go telling them foul things about me!" Charnys called from another room.
