"Why is father such a coward and a traitor?" Adder said. Bunny and Rabbit flinched at the words. "Don't say that! Father had his reasons!" Sparrow said. Added looked at her, "Ita true! If he wasn't a traitor, he'd still be here! And if he wasn't a coward, he wouldn't just give up after a piece of prey just slashed his eye. What do you think Dust? Whisper? What do you think of father?!"

Cinnamon flicked her ears and thought about what to say to the kit. "He wasn't a coward. A traitor, maybe, but not a coward. If anything he was too bold..."
Whisper walked over to Cinnamon. "Don't worry about Adder." He smiled. "I bet none of us could take down a fox with only one eye, so our dad must be pretty brave."
"Oh, he didn't only take down foxes. He fought badgers too, all by himself." She replied, nuzzling the kit.
Dust stayed quiet.

Rabbit felt better, but not by much. Adder looked at Dust, "What do you think bro?" Bunny and Sparrow walked over to Cinnamon. "Don't listen to him." Sparrow said.

Whisper and Dust stayed curled up against her fur. "I'm hungry..." Dust mumbled. Whisper huffed. Cinnamon chuckled.

Sparrow went to the pile and grabbed the biggest vole she could find. Then she walked back to Dust and dropped it on him. "There ya go."

He giggled as the vole was dropped onto his stomach. He rolled back over and sniffed it. "Thanks!"

Dust ate a bit over half the vole, then pushed it away. "I'm full." "I'll have the rest." Whisper mewed, walking over.
