“You think this will work?” Whispered a voice.
“I'm sure it will.” Came the hushed reply. “It's been done before.”
“You better be right. Or this could be the last time we speak.”
“Fear not. We will meet again. Farewell, friend.”
It was early on a Tuesday morning in the town of Sephala, beginning of December. You wake to find a necklace around your neck. The symbol was a circle on top of a cross. You recall it being called an ankh, a symbol of health.
There was a note attached to the metal symbol. It read as follows.
“Go to the field behind Sephala Laboratory on the sixteenth day.
Do not lose this pendant. Keep it on you at all times.
All will then be clear.”
The gods are coming back.
Will you go and fulfil your destiny, or will you let whatever darkness that the future holds be dropped upon the earth?

Okay, so, yes this is an RP based on Egyptian mythology. I had to do it. So here it is.
Also, just a note, in order to make this thread short as possible I am leaving some important things out, like hieroglyphs/words/magic and stuff. I'll explain them when the time comes.
There are a few things you may play as.
The main characters will be people, so I'd like if you have at least one human character.
Name:
Age:
Gender:
Appearance:
Personality:
Crush:
Favoured God(Optional, it will come up a few times in the story if you have filled it in. It doesn't have to reflect your characters personalities like mine do, which will be shown later.):
Other:
Next up are the gods and goddesses. There are a lot, but here are some of the first ones I thought of that you can play as if you're having trouble. (You can play as any one of them!) (Click the spoilers to see the images if you're on the desktop, mobile/Tapatalk has them showing by default I believe.)
Ra, the god of the sun and radiance. One of the creation gods. He is a man with a falcon's head.(TAKEN!)
Horus, the god of the sky, vengeance, protection, falcons, and war. One of the most important deities. He is a man with a falcon's head, and sometimes takes the form of a falcon. (TAKEN!)
Sekhmet, goddess of (mainly)fire, deserts, and war. She is a woman with a lion's head. She has an alter-ego named Hathor.
Bastet/Bast, goddess of (mainly)cats, protection, and overall joy. She is a woman with a cat's head. She is also known to protect Ra from Apophis. (Mentioned later.) (TAKEN!)
Set, god of storms, the desert, violence, and chaos. He is portrayed as good and bad throughout the mythology, sometimes Ra's defender and sometimes the murderer of Osiris. At this time in the story he has pushed away his evil ways, hopefully for a long time. He is a man with the head of the Set Animal(Mentioned later), though is sometimes seen as just a man.
Other taken gods:
Anubis
Finally are the creatures. There are lots of creatures in the Egyptian world, here are a few. (Again, click the spoilers to see the images. You can also play as any creature.)
Ammit, devourer of the dead. Ammit is a female demon with the head of a crocodile, the mane and front half of a lion, and the back half of a hippo. Ammit's job was to eat the souls of the people that Anubis deemed unworthy to move on to the afterlife. She is kind of like Anubis's pet. There can only be one. It stays mostly in Anubis's hall, or the hall of judgement.
The Set Animal, or the Sha. I can't really explain this one so here is the picture:
It's sometimes considered Set's second form, but for this story it will be a separate creature. There can only be one. (TAKEN!)
The Serpopard is a peculiar animal with the body of a leopard, and a serpent where it's head should be. Couldn't find a very good picture for this one.
I'm pretty sure everyone knows what a griffin is.
And probably the most important one, Apophis. More commonly known as Apep(I just prefer Apophis), Apophis is a gigantic red serpent and is known as the mortal enemy of Ra. It is a being of pure chaos and darkness. For now, this one is closed but I may open it later. There can only be one.
You can also play as any other mythical creature.
That's all! You can make as many characters as you wish.
May Ma'at be upon you.
(May order/peace be upon you.)
