Jasmine gave a relieved sigh. "Thanks. Follow me!" She ran off.

Gupta started to run and Aziza sighed. "Why?" she muttered and followed.

She stopped at a large building. "Here we are." She briefly grabbed the intricate charm hanging from her neck, then led them around to the back of the building.

She walked over to the wall and looked at the three. "Take those charms and hold them up so they catch the light of the sun. Like this." She took the necklace off and held it high into the air. She tilted it until it glowed white in the sun.

Gupta did as he was told. Aziza was hesitant until she finally held her charm up.

A few seconds after Lexin held his up, three glowing figures floated down from the sky, each one landing in front of someone. A man with green skin appeared before Lexin. "Hello, my child. Do you know my name?" He asked. Lexin just stared at him, surprised and confused, causing a chuckle to come from the man. Then his smile faded. "Now, I must speak with you." Before Gupta and Aziza landed a falcon-headed man with a headdress that glowed with warmth. "It's nice to meet you, my children." Came the strong voice. "But the time for a proper greeting must wait. We haven't long." "Jasmine. It's been too long." Horus greeted her, his attempt at cheerfulness thwarted by the urgency in his voice. Jasmine smiled and hugged him. "Yeah. Far too long." "Horus!" The other falcon headed man snapped. "This isn't the time. Both of you, come here." "Of course, grandfather Ra." Horus walked over to join the sun god, his shining golden eye dim in comparison to Ra's sun disk, Jasmine by his side. "Yes, sorry, Divine Father." She apologized, giving a bow. Ra shook his head. "It's fine. Just focus for now, please. Also, it's nice to see you again, Jasmine." She nodded. "You too. Hey, I thought Thoth was coming...?" Horus smiled. "Do you have a problem with me coming instead?" "Maybe I do." Jasmine joked, grinning. "Enough! This is important! Jasmine, Thoth has to attend to other matters, but he wished for me to tell you that he had been looking forward to seeing you again." Ra grumbled, irritated. "Now, focus!" The two remained silent, guilt in Jasmine's eyes and Horus's remaining expressionless. (After this meeting is over you can play as Ra again. I just need him for this part, for obvious reasons  Thanks.) |

Gupta's eyes widened and he whispered the word "Ra." Aziza was confused, really confused. "What?" She muttered.

Ra sighed and looked at the two. "Gupta. Aziza. One of you will need much more explanations than the other, yes?" He turned his head to face Aziza. "I am Ra. At the beginning of time, I was born from the one older still than I, Nun. Then I went on to create the inhabitants of this world and reigned over Egypt until one day I ascended to the heavens. Now, I return to earth, but not to rule. I wish to speak with you both, for Thoth, the god who holds all the world's knowledge, has predicted a stirring in the balance between chaos and Ma'at, or order." He moved to face them both again. "He also knew that a group of young, both knowing and not, had been born with the last shreds of Divine Power alive on this world. With this knowledge he foresaw that these children would be the ones to defeat whatever evils lie in wait and restore the balance. Ah, and Gupta..." He paused and a hieroglyph glowed blue on his forehead, then faded. "You can now speak freely. I have laid a spell so that whatever is said during this meeting is translated to a language the hearer of the words will understand. For example, you may speak in your own language and Jasmine and Aziza will hear English. Alright, you may now ask things as you please."

Gupta nodded and hesitated on asking a question. "D-Do you know what's stirring in the balance, great Ra?" He asked. Aziza didn't understand anything, so she decided to stay silent.
(I'm loving this, a lot. And I don't know why, but I made Gupta be a person who was born in Egypt, but had to move to (where ever they are now) due to work and finance for his family when he was young. For Aziza, she's just someone who doesn't grasp, or acknowledge things easily.)

"Okay. So if they've woken up and so have you, what can we four do? We're just humans, not gods like yourself and the others." He said. Aziza stayed quiet as she listened.

"You each wield a very special power. Us gods can't handle this coming of darkness on our own, but with you, thy who's power could match even ours, we may be able to handle Apep." Horus explained.
Jasmine stepped forward. "If I may, Father Ra?" "Of course." Ra replied. Jasmine nodded and picked up a blade of grass. She whispered something and the blade grew into a golden staff. She muttered something else and the staff turned blue and melted, hitting the ground in the form of water. She then murmured one final word and the water formed once again into a blade of grass. "One day, this is the kind of feat you will be able to accomplish." She explained, then bowed her head to Ra and stepped back beside Horus.
Ra closed his eyes. "Also, Apep is already attacking. Several of us have fallen prey to his mighty red jaws. Tawaret. Sobek. Hapi. And more."
Jasmine glared at him. "I wasn't told this!"
Ra sighed. "You already carry a heavy burden, my child. I didn't want it to grow too large before our meeting."

Gupta shuddered and nodded. "Alright.." Aziza looked up, "How can I help? I don't understand any of this. To everyone else in the world, I'm an outsider. A rogue." He looked at her and put a hand on her shoulder. "You aren't an outsider Aziza." He said.

Ra turned to her. "None of my creations are outsiders. Everyone and everything has a role, a part to play." He said. Horus and Jasmine nodded their agreements. Ra continued, "Maybe you haven't discovered the people or the mission that will make you feel accepted yet, but you are certainly not a rogue."

Ra closed his eyes for a moment. "Now. Back to the matter at hand. You will need training. I'll leave that in Jasmine's hands. When you are ready to begin, speak with her. Also, I suppose I should explain why Lexin is speaking with Ptah. Well, you see, Ptah is also a creator god."
"Aye! I created the universe with my bare hands and some wood!" He called over, then turned back to Lexin. Ra chuckled. "I thought the two would get along. Alright, any final questions for me? Jasmine can also answer any questions you might have later."

Ra looked down for a moment, then looked up and nodded. "Well, we must be going then. Good luck in your travels, and we will speak again. Come on, Ptah."
"Oh, a'right." He walked over to Ra's other side. Lexin walked over and stood next to Aziza. "Yeah, we ought to see each other again. But you'll meet plenty of gods in your travels. Be nice to 'em." Jasmine laughed. "Goodbye, Ptah. It was great seeing all of you again..."
"Hey, don't act like this is the last time we will speak." Horus said, looking up at the sky.
"Right. When do you think we will speak again?"
"I honestly don't know."
Ra looked at her. "It could be any time from here on out. But I do think you have a possibility in mind."
"That's so far off, though."
Ptah snorted. "Believe in them, would ya?" Then he disappeared. Ra followed him. Horus looked at Jasmine. "It shouldn't be that long. Goodbye." He faded away last.
