She was woken by a starry robin that flapped hurriedly out of a tree, followed by a pair of cats, who chatted eagerly as they sprinted after their prey. "Sorry, Mesa!" One apologized.

She was about to doze off again when she heard footsteps. Her tail twitched, and she glanced around.

No one was there. She twitched again and left the area.
A shape suddenly fell down in front of Jay, disappearing as soon as it touched the ground.

Jay jumped back as something landed in front of her. She blinked and looked around before deciding to take a walk.
