A she-cat lay lazily stretched out on her back, gazing up through the branches of a cluster of oak trees. Her dark brown pelt, a colour similar to that of wet dirt, was flecked with dots of white. It wasn't always like that though. Her amber eyes used to lack the shine of wisdom, and her thick, oily fur was once completely brown, like that of her fathers. She glanced around at the cats around her. They were cats young and old, though most of them were adults, like her. They all shared the star-flecked pelts and deep, wise gazes. This was Sky Colony, home of the long deceased and recently passed alike. They all had different allegiances in life, and some even had the poor fortune of locking in battle, but here, they acted as one. She herself was a member of the Colony of the Creek once upon a time. She had died fairly young, having eaten a tainted fish. It had been painful, seeing her family and friends weep over her lost life, but she eventually grew resistant of those feelings of grief and sadness along with those below her. Sometimes she still grew upset and restless, as she had only passed a moon and a half before, but then she bit her tongue and reminded herself that her loved ones would hate to see her that way. Her name was Mesa, and now she lay staring up at the endless expanse of starless sky, leisurely spending her days in this land of eternal prey, health, youth, and friendship.
Little did she know, not even this seemingly unbreakable peace couldn't last forever.

A ginger she-cat walked through the territory as if she didn't know where she was or going. Her pelt had spots that had turned from ginger to orangish crimson. She stopped and looked around, still wondering where she was as she wandered. As she looked at her pelt, she saw the orangish crimson patches and sighed. "How did I ever get here?" She muttered.
(Is this the one where a stranger wanders into this Colony, but is related to someone in the colony? If this sounds confusing, I'm sorry)

(Um, I kind of understand, so I'm going to say yes. X3) Mesa heard a small commotion so she got up, stretched, and walked over to where a group was forming. She snaked her way to the front and winced when she saw three very young kits, mewling for their mother. "What happened?" She asked. "They were born to a sickly queen. Their mother is close to death as well." A tom meowed, his green eyes dark. Mesa frowned. "Awful."
A cat with a starless pelt crept along, looking around curiously. Though there was no telltale shine of this cat being of the Sky, its fur didn't have the dank smell of a Darkness cat either.

(Who's the stranger, you or me? Or is there more than one?)
The she-cat kept walking, hoping to find her way back to where she was before.

(There can be two, doesn't matter to me.) Mesa glanced down at the kits, then shook her head and padded off. She couldn't bear to see the poor things.
The cat jumped as a mouse scurried past, then shook its head and moved on.

(Ok)
The she-cat continued to walk, still wondering where she was going and why she wasn't turning back.

Mesa returned to her spot and sat down with a small sigh. Looking determined, but at the same time unsure and confused, the cat pushed on. It had come with a mission. One it didn't completely recall. It wasn't even completely sure who it was. But it knew it had to succeed in its goal. (Are you planning on making a new Sky cat too?)

(Um, sure. But I'm just going to use Jay (From Obscure) the only apparence change is that she has claw marks over her eyes (which will be explained in Obscure soon))
The she-cat climbed a tree and decided to rest.
"What's wrong? What happened this time?" A cat asked, standing in front of Mesa.

( Okay x3) Mesa looked up. "Oh, hello." She flicked her head back in the direction of the little gathering. "Creek lost some kits." She responded solemnly.

She looked a the little gathering, then back at Mesa. "Now I can see. Seeing kits like that isn't good at all.."

Mesa shook her head. "Not a good sight. Their mother may join us soon as well."

"The father is going to mourn for a long while." Jay said with a shiver.

She decided to go hunt, since she hadn't eaten anything today.
