Kiyasa had had very little luck thus far in her search and decided to call a quick break. She landed gently upon the branches of a birch tree and took a deep breath, stretching out her wings.

Aarne continued to soar, finding his friend after a few minutes. He turned towards her and landing with a quiet thump. "Hello Kiyasa."

Kiyasa looked over when Aarne swooped in and landed at her side. "Oh, hello. Having any luck so far?" she asked.

"I found them, and they're helping us find some birds to replace them," Aarne said quietly.

Kiyasa blinked. "Oh, really? Thank goodness. I was coming up with nix, so I was starting to worry that we'd be out of luck today. Did they give you a time frame they'd be able to find their replacements in or will we have to wait and see?"

"I told them when we'd need their replacements, and I also told them about the high advisor. For now, we'll have to wait and see." He looked around, hoping no one was listening to them.

Kiyasa nodded, also taking a quick glance around to make sure that no one was eavesdropping. "Alright, then. I suppose I can call off my search. My wings were starting to get tired, taking off and then landing again over and over..."

He stretched his wings, taking a moment to do so before tucking them back to his sides. "Should we tell Arethusa this as well?"

"Ah, probably," Kiyasa said. "She seemed worried earlier. Maybe it will put her at peace knowing she'll have her sacrifices soon."

"Then lets go find her, otherwise I might have to give her something just to calm her nerves. I don't want a tired falcon worrying everybody," He muttered, taking off to find Arethusa.

Kiyasa chirped her agreements and took flight, gliding off after Aarne on the hunt for Arethusa.

Arethusa landed on a branch of a birch tree, stretching her wings and looking around. She wondered how long she flew around and questioned birds. Maybe a few minutes of relaxing wouldn't hurt.
Aarne spotted the falcon easily, going towards her and landing beside her. "High-advisor," he greeted. She turned her head to look at him, but said nothing.

Kiyasa landed next to him. "Greetings," she said politely with a dip of her head. "We'd like to speak with you a few moments, if that's okay."

"It is. I'd like to speak in private though, some birds don't know what the meaning of privacy is." Aarne jumped at how sharp her words were, but shook his head and looked up at her. "That's quite alright with us. Where shall we go?" He asked.

Kiyasa noticed the edge to her words and wondered what had caused her to spit like that. "Yes, please, do lead us to wherever you'd like," she said, preparing to take flight.

Arethusa took off, deciding to head to the stream where they met before. She felt calm once she landed next to it, keeping her gaze on it as Aarne landed a little bit away from her.

Kiyasa landed once more at Aarne's side and looked at Arethusa. "Well, it seems we've done it," she said. "Mission accomplished, objective completed. We've found our martyrs."

"Thank you, I can finally stop questioning birds. The nerve of some of those-," Arethisa shook her head. Her let her shoulders sag. Aarne sighed, knowing that offering something to keep her relaxed wouldn't work.

Kiyasa sighed. "Things must have been especially difficult for you. No one would trust you enough to indulge such important information, you being the high advisor and all. Ah, I feel bad."

"Feeling bad for me? Thought you didn't like me, or does your trust change that quickly?" Arethusa asked, looking up before looking at Aarne. "Hey! You're on our side and aren't that bad. At least accept some sympathy fly-brain!" He snapped, managing to get a chuckle from her. "Even so, how do I know you won't stab me in the back once this is over? For all I know, I'm a pawn that's being used."
