name inspiration: I created a fake language for one of my writing pieces and the word for shadow is 'kot'.

Appearance:
primary coat colour: Black
markings: White fur on stomach and lower section of chest. Also has some white on the inside of his legs.
eye colour: Sapphire blue
build: Tall and lithe
detailed appearance: Kot is a thin, agile cat, with long, slim legs. His shoulders are broad in comparison to the rest of his body. His head is also a bit too big for him, and his muzzle is long and thin. His tail is longer than average and has slightly longer fur than the rest of his body. Overall he has fairly short fur, but it's also very thick. It's primarily onyx black, but it fades into a shining white a few centimetres below the base of his neck and continues along his stomach, spreading along the insides of his legs. Some have noticed this gives him a rather ghostly look under certain lighting. He keeps his fur very clean, despising mats and ruffled patches. He also has a bit of white on the bottom of his chin but it isn't noticeable unless he tilts his head back. His eyes are small and deep set, giving him a naturally sly look, and are coloured a vivid, solid sapphire blue. His whiskers are shorter than average and are very neat and well-kept. His ears are big and pointed with black tufts.

Personality: Kot is a born trickster. He is cunning and has a love of manipulation. He is very calm under stressful situations, but can be bold, often tripping into bad scenarios he has a tough time getting himself out of. He is a very determined tom, and refuses to give up, even if it could cost him. He also enjoys riddles and word play, and finds it amusing to confuse others with cryptic messages. Despite his sharp tongue, tendency to lie, and enjoyment of tricking others, he isn't necessarily evil. He doesn't mind shedding blood but won't do it unless he has to. He does, however, like kidnapping/trapping strangers and holding them as hostages or slaves for a bit.
As far as relations with others go, though, he is kind to those he considers comrades and a mate isn't out of the question. You just have to catch him when he isn't in his usual mischievous mood. He also has some sense of honour, and is respectful towards those who defeat him, whether in battle or word games.

dislikes: Failure, idiots, battle, creatures who have no sense of humour, being alone.
