The cat was impatient. She waited a moment longer before gliding out across the grass and stopping in front of Crux. She knew surprising him wasn't going to work, this was a smart opponent. She had never found a cat that lasted more than five seconds in battle with her. This could be interesting.

Crux looked at her, "You again?" he put his paw down, he stood up and stretched. "You going to play with me like a mouse? Or fight?" he said. Crux stood his ground, "I wont go easy"

The cat sat like a statue. It seemed like she wasn't even breathing. Just watching with those hypnotising green eyes.

Crux climbed a tree and sat on a branch. "What do you want with me? Who are you anyway?" he called

Shadow waited for him to leave the hole. She was still as a statue again, and barely breathing.

Crux found out that this tree was dead, he crawled down from the trunk and he hunkered down. He was under the tree, but you could see a hole which was by some uprooted roots

Crux slowly made his way from under the tree. 'I'm scared, ME!' he thought, 'I have to run...right...now' he dashed from the tree. He leaped on top of a fence and continued running

Shadow smirked and dashed after her target, her small but large-appearing body giving her good speed. This is the most fun I've had during a kill in a long time! She snickered to herself.

"I feel like prey! This stinks!" Crux said, he looked down and saw an open widow, "That's my only way out, I don't want to die now. At least no one can see me." He went to the window, snuck into the Twoleg House, and ran to a hiding spot

Shadow stopped when her prey entered a twoleg house. She spat in disgust. She hated twolegs, and all their buildings and roads and... Twoleg stuff.
