(I'll just post whatever comes to mind.) Shadow got up and poked Crux a few times. (Most of the time, my characters that revolve around black like to poke people.  The Shadows, Darkness, so on. ) |

Shadow smirked, as a yes. Her emerald eyes glinted. A loud screech came out of no where, and Shadow remembered she hadn't fully ended that stupid pet's life. It had been left to suffer.

Crux bared his fangs and stepped back, "Do you kill for fun? Is that it!" he snarled, "That cat should not suffer, it should just die immediately!" his claws scrapped the ground

"Well why not? I live in that huge forest with nothing to do all day, and those stupid pets are always stealing my prey... Plus, it's fun." Shadow replied with a shrug, still talking in that strange, wise voice. She thought her red tinted fangs and bloodstained paws would have made it obvious.

Crux stood up straight, "That, is true." he heard a couple of yowls of victory. "Time to kill." he muttered, he padded away and went towards the yowls

"Kill?" Shadow's ears pricked up. "Not without me!" She added in a whisper, and followed Crux.

Crux flicked an ear, he finally found six cats. One of the cats yelled "We have territory and-" "I wont know? I could hear you yowling from my den." Crux raked his claws on the ground, "This town is my territory, and your stealing part of it." The six cats were cornered and Crux dashed and killed one of them. He looked behind him and looked at Shadow, "I kill two more, you kill three. Make them suffer as much as you like."

Shadow shrugged. She killed one quickly by ripping its throat out with her long, sharp fangs. She sliced another cats stomach open and left it to bleed out. Then she cut the last one's throat and left it gasping for air, all without hesitation.

Crux corned the last two, he closed in on them. "Crux, we weren't stealing you land. We were checking it, right Slit?" the groups leader said. "Y-yeah Nicks." Crux leaped at Nicks and sliced his eye. "Keep lying and you'll die." he killed Slit on the spot. Nicks bared his fangs, "You killed my son, now I'll ki-" Crux shut him up by pinning him down. "You'll join him." Crux meowed, he bit Nicks throat hard. Nicks yowled and quickly died when something in his throat made a cracking noise. Crux walked away and licked his jaws, "Bad blood, unneeded fight"

Shadow watched with interest. When Crux left, she went a different way, back into the forest. She decided to give up trying to kill Crux.

Crux made it back home, he looked around. He went to the dumpster and put his bloody paw on it, there was more than one bloody paw print. He went to his box, layed down, and licked his bloody paw. "This town is abandoned, the only place that has food now is here by my den." he licked his claws, "And there's only about a 3 days worth of food. When that's gone, I'm leaving here." he ate some pork chops and went to sleep

Shadow stayed up all night like she usually does. Only her green eyes were visible in the dark forest.

Crux woke up to see his food gone, "3 days of food, gone to 0." he muttered. He walked onto the streets and looked around, "This place really is abandoned, I should leave and go to the forest." he jumped over a few fences and leaped down. He felt grass underneath his paws. "I've hunted rats, I can hunt a rabbit." he walked into the forest

Crux sniffed, he saw a mouse and crouched down. When he was close, he leapt. A loud squeak was cut off. "I knew I could hunt out here." he meowed. He sat down and ate the mouse
(Its been 4 pages and Crux still doesn't know Shadow's name)
