Shadow waited for him to spot her watching him, and hoped she would get at least a jump out of Crux.

Crux finally saw the shadow cat (that's what he will call Shadow until he knows her name), 'I can attack her' he thought, he snuck from his hiding spot, he was under a shelf. He dashed to behind a couch, then under a table that was under the window the shadow cat was on

Shadow detected his victim's scent grow slightly stronger. She left the windowsill and stood on the fence. Then she leaped onto the roof of the building.

Crux leaped on top the the table, "Gone, but not far I bet." he went to another open window and snuck out. He leaped on a nearby roof top

Crux found the shadow cat, the wind was blowing In his face. '1...2...3....NOW!' he thought, he dashed and tackle Shadow with unsheathed claws

Crux landed, shortly behind the shadow cat. He spun around and slashed her across the shoulder

Shadow dodged again but felt some fur leave her shoulder. She didn't attack.

Crux was annoyed, he leaped back. He bared his fangs, "What do you want from me!? Who are you!? Stop playing with me!!" he yowled

Shadow didn't speak. She was waiting for an opportunity to get in the killing blow, and if she didn't get that chance, she would go for an easier kill. Maybe one of those fat pets that just lay around in the sun all day.

Crux had enough, "Waste of time. Just kill something else, why pick me?" he walked away, he glanced back a few times, but he kept on going

Shadow shrugged and left. A few moments later there was an ear-piercing screech, cut off quick.

Crux woke up and jumped, he was having a nap. "By Scourge's claw, what was that?" then he remembered the Shadow Cat. "Oh, must have been her. I'm glad I'm not being hunted anymore." she layed his head down and went back to sleep, he was in a box

Shadow slid into the forest she came from. Then she picked up Crux's scent. She smirked and followed it all the way to the box he was in. She gave it a push with a fluffy, red tinted black paw.

Crux opened his eyes, "Wha-" he sniffed, "You again? Why do you go after me now?" he asked, he was still laying down, but he unsheathed his claws
