Shadow woke up early, at dawn. It was still morning, but not quite dawn any more. She was laying under a bush, eating a rat.

Crux was in the tree, eating a rabbit. The rabbit was right by the tree, so he just landed on top of it. Now he was eating in. "Stupid rabbit."

Shadow finished eating and threw the skeleton.

Crux finished eating, he kept the rabbit claws while the rest fell to the forest floor. "I can keep these." he meowed, he put them in a hole that was right by him

Shadow decided to practice some moves. She left the bush and started bouncing from tree to tree, doing flips, and killing invisible cats. Her fur made her seem large, but her actually small frame allowed her to be quick and agile.

Crux raised his head, he spotted Shadow. He sat up and backed up a bit. He watched Shadow

Shadow used her back legs to push herself from tree trunk to tree trunk. She grabbed branches, flipped off, grabbed another one, climbed up, and leaped to the next tree.

Shadow finished the 'show' by gracefully landing on the ground. She didn't even seem tired. Then again, she did practice everyday.

Crux blinked, then shrugged. He looked up and started climbing, soon he was at the top of the tree.

Crux heard a snap, "it better not be-" he was cut off as he yowled in shock as he fell through the tree, and landed on the ground. He didn't land on his paws, but he did land in a lot of moss. Crux was breathing hard and his eyes were wide, the branch landed right beside him

(No. Crux was in the tree where he slept for the night. He went to the top and sat down on a weak branch. The branch broke and he fell out of the tree. Luckily he landed in a lot of moss. He's just in a lot of shock and he's not really moving.)
