He stopped, sniffing the air. He flicked an ear to Rosefang and the two started moving.

"Dimpaw." Shadestar whispered. "A rabbit's found it's way here. They're very quick on there feet. I want you to startle it into my direction. If it dodges my paws Rosefang and Cedarpaw will be ready on either side."

He nodded and did as he was told. When he leaped, the rabbit ran towards Shadestar.

Shadestar pounced but the rabbit was faster. It sensed him and sped straight into Rosefang's waiting claws.
