"Well... We should do something exciting together!" She chirped. "Like go on an adventure!" Her eyes sparkled with blatant excitement and it showed in her stance as well as she hopped up and down.

She led them to the edge of the forest. It was cut off by a thick strip of hard, shining black stone. "Whoa... I've never explored this far out... What's this thing?" She pawed at the stone curiously. "It's... Weird..."

Berry tilted his head, pawing the stone too.
Crux sat down and watched them.

Chroma let out a startled squeal and jumped back when a giant, gleaning creature rolled down the path of stone at high speed, growling loudly. "Wh-what was that?!" She exclaimed, cowering behind Berry.

Berry jumped, his fur standing up. "I-I have no idea!"
Crux was startled as well, "Well...that was something.."

Chroma moved to try and run across but immediately jumped back again when another shining beast roared past. She flattened her ears. "I don't like this! We need to get across, but how?"

Crux sighed, "I've seen these before, I remember now. Travelling was something I used to do." He walked to the edge and looked both ways. "Just wait, and when nothing's coming, run across. Easy."
