(I will, I have a fun way to start things off~)
Abrevynen woke in the morning with a yawn, slowly opening his eyes, thought the light in the den was tame and didn't feel like much of an assault on his vision. He stretched out his body and started grooming his fur, but before he could get very far, he noticed something quite peculiar. "Kowara! Look, look!" He nudged her mind with his own to get her attention. "I grew another tail!"

Kowara growled, feeling agitated as she was woken. "You couldn't have told me when I was awake?"
Vezolth looked up, yawning as his tired gaze drifted to the two.

Abrevynen sighed. "Sorry. I didn't notice until now, it must have grown in over night." He waved his new tail in the air alongside the one he'd had before, marvelling over it. "And I think my fur is changing colour too!"

"Good for you," she muttered, snuggling in her blankets. "Can I go back to sleep?"
Vezolth tilted his head, wondering why Kowara was like this.

Abrevynen frowned. He didn't like the feeling of dismissal he was being faced with, but he relented. "I mean, I guess so, but don't sleep too much longer, the morning will be gone before we know it!"

"Good," she whispered, falling asleep in a few short moments.
"Is something wrong?" Vezolth asked quietly.

Abrevynen looked over at Vezolth and sighed. "I'm really not sure," he admitted.

"Do you know what it's about?" Vezolth asked, slithering closer to Kowara. He looked at her, hoping he could sense anything else, he couldn't.

Abrevynen sighed. "I might, actually. It's probably due to one of two things that happened a few days ago. Early in the day, something happened, and her soul sorta... Got trapped somewhere. I don't really know how to explain what happened." He shrugged. "But then, she was saved by the hunter with the deer skull! And you know what happened then?" He hopped onto Vezolth's head and leaned close to his ear, keeping his voice low. "I sensed love! I think she's in love with him!"

"I met the hunter a few days ago as well, his mind was occupied as he fired arrows. Should we find him?" Vezolth asked, looking up at the ferret. "I mean, Kowara might be depressed about the whole incident. She's sleeping a lot recently."

Abrevynen nodded. "That might be a good idea!" he agreed. "I mean, I doubt the hunter will want much to do with it, but there's a chance. I could sense some bothered emotions in his spirit too."

"You'll have to lead me to where he is, but I'll carry you there." The serpent slithered out of the home, looking back before continuing forward.

Abrevynen stood on the serpent's snout and pointed the way with his wing. "Alright, it's this way! I think he's near his house."

He nodded, slithering the way Abrevynen pointed.

Soon the hunter's hut came into view and Abrevynen looked around. "Hm. He's behind it. Be careful you don't scare him, I sense he has his guard down."
Zilius had a blade in his hand and was sharpening it with a stone. He finished and tossed it into a basket, then picked up another and started the sharpening process over.

"I feel like I'll lose a feather for this," Vezolth muttered, slithering to the back of the structure. When he spotted the hunter, he stopped and waited, deciding not to say anything yet.

Zilius was roused from his calm, focused state by the noise of the serpent approaching and he gazed over. "Oh. You. What is it?" He asked, setting his things aside and facing Vezolth and the ferret. He ensured his skull helm was hiding his face, as he always did.

Vezolth shifted, slightly uncomfortable. "Erm, Abreyvnen can explain better than me," he mumbled, looking up at the ferret.

Abrevynen flew over to the hunter, hovering before him. "Yeah, we were wondering if, perhaps, you'd be willing to meet up with Kowara again? She's been so quiet lately, it's bugging me. I thought maybe if she saw you it'd perk her up a little?" Zilius didn't really understand why the ferret was making the request. He lowered his head. "I don't want to." Abrevynen sighed. "Come on. You've got to."

Vezolth watched, unsure of what to say about the situation. "Why then?" he muttered, not knowing what else to say.
