Abrevynen hesitated, sensing the slightly ticked sense that had infiltrated Vezolth's aura, but Kowara's words to him distracted him. He flew over to her in a rush and if she didn't dodge, he'd collide with her and hastily climb up her arm, then curl around her shoulders to enjoy the warmth her body emitted. "K-Kowara ... never do that again, okay?" he stammered as his throat tightened, tears staining his soft brown fur.

She stayed where she was, shrugging her shoulder. "I had a lot going on in my head, I wasn't well." Kowara started to cough. "I'm better now, even if it doesn't seem like it. 'm just malnourished and thirsty. I'm pretty weak, overall."
Vezolth curled back in the sunlight, letting the warmth seep into his scales. There was a voice at the back of his head that kept saying 'I told you so.' He ignored it, even muttering an incantation to rid it. "Go bug someone else you pest," he hissed quietly.

"I can get you food and some water!" Abrevynen offered immediately and obediently, jumping up her neck and huddling in her hair. He could sense that she was feeling better, even if she was weak. She seemed to radiate a new strength, and it had him reinvigorated to the maximum. "Anything you like, just let me know!" He spoke cheerfully, eager to help her out, see her doing well, and simply to be with her again.

"Well, I don't think your paws could hold anything for a long distance. Everything here is stale and rotton," Kowara hummed, leaning back and putting her glasses on once she found them. "How've you been? You look like a ruffled furball."
