[Wolfstar]

Sun continued walking, narrowing her eyes at something ahead. "What is that?" she muttered watching as large shapes ran back and forth behind a white thing.
"We should check it out, so we'll see if we need to avoid it or go around," Dew replied.
Storm nodded and raised his tail, "We're checking the shapes up ahead. So don't zone out."
"We'll hunt soon as well, if anyone was about to ask," Hawk added, looking at Oddkit sleep peacefully.

Dawnscar and Icepetal also noticed the moving shapes. They nodded at the Five and looked at everyone else. "Be on your guard. There's something odd ahead," Dawnscar informed the other three, since none of them had been paying even a lick of attention. Mintpaw and Burningsky nodded, and Mintpaw shoved Hollowpaw to snap him out of his trance and explained the situation. He nodded too. "Understood."

Hawk took the lead, much to Sun's annoyance, and lead the eleven up to the shapes. He stopped when they reached a weird, white structure. "What is this? I don't remember this from last time at all," Hawk said, narrowing his eyes as he jumped up, his claws keeping him steady. "Come up here, just don't jump to the other side," he called.
Sun and Storm leapt up, while Dew took ahold of Oddkit and passing her to Soul. The two jumped up soon after.

The clan cats followed, approaching the white structure hesitantly. "Hm, it wasn't here last time? I wonder what it could be?" Hollowpaw murmured, following the others as they jumped up. Dawnscar sniffed. "I don't know, but I don't like it. Twolegs probably put it here, and nothing twolegs make is good."

"Horses! We've seen these large beasts before!" Soul said, watching as they ran in the enclosure. He looked down, seeing Oddkit wake up, her eyes widening as she spotted the creatures.
"Woah, they're huge!" She squealed.
Hawk gave a small chuckle at her response.
Sun smiled, nodding, "They are. Even so though, getting caught by their large paws, if you can call those that, would mean death."
Dew watched as the horses ran, watching their patterns. She even spotted a few smaller ones.
"There's some horse kits too, interesting," Storm said quietly.

Hollowpaw studied the unfamiliar animals. "Oh, how odd. Their paws are unusual indeed. And they're so fast... I wonder what kind of prey they hunt. Or are they plant-eaters?"
Mintpaw looked in and gasped. "Whoa, that's so cool! They look so big! I wouldn't want to get near one of those in the first place, never mind those paw-thingies!"
Dawnscar just sighed. "They're dangerous... Can we go around?"
Icepetal watched them and all of their odd patterns. "I've never seen something like this. They are large!" She chuckled. "And look at the tiny ones! What did you say they're called, horses?"
Burningsky watched, tail swishing. "Huh. They look sort of silly. Look at their tails."

"They are horses, indeed Icepetal. From what I've seen, they eat plants, Hollowpaw," Dew responded with a smile.
Sun looked at everyone before standing, "Let's walk along this white thing. We'll be able to keep an eye on the horses, they seem to be calming down as well, let's go." She stood at started walking, making sure she was balanced as she walked.
Soul put Oddkit on Hawk's back as the tom stood. He glared at the black tom before following behind Storm. Soul followed behind him.

They all followed, beginning the trek around the white thing. Dawnscar kept his eye on the horses, still uncertain about them. Such big animals felt like a natural threat. Icepetal had taken to talking to the apprentices about the horses, amused by how amazed the two of them were, though they had vastly different ways of showing it.

[Wolfstar]

Soon enough, they had passed the horses and had leapt off the white structure. "Alright, I'm glad that's over," Hawk said, hissing when his ear was being tugged.
"That was cool! Don't deny it!" Oddkit said, tugging on his ear. Soul smiled at the sight, even though Hawk glared at him.
Storm and Dew talked quietly as they started moving again, Sun was in the lead once again.

Dawnscar huffed as the horses were passed, feeling safer to be out of the range of the unfamiliar beasts. Mintpaw couldn't help but prance up to Hawk's side and comment, "Yeah, Hawk, it was super cool!" she agreed, smiling at Oddkit. Icepetal watched with a laughed, while Hollowpaw was left rambling to Burningsky, who ignored him completely but acted as though she was paying attention.

Hawk glared down at Mintpaw, muttering a curse under his breath.
Oddkit slid down and joined the apprentice's side, "At least someone agrees! Do you agree Soul?"
"I do indeed, sweetheart," Soul responded, flashing Hawk an apologetic look when his glare went onto the masked tom.
Sun, Storm, and Dew stayed quiet.

Mintpaw nodded. "How can you not agree?" she asked, chuckling. "Unless you're Hawk, who doesn't agree with anything." Leaning close to Oddkit, she whispered, "He thinks he's too good for that."

[Wolfstar]

"I know, Cedarclan cats, am I right?" She whispered back with a giggle.
Hawk growled and hung his head, hissing when Soul laid his tail on his shoulder.
Soul laughed, "This journey won't end well for you Hawk-"
"You don't think I know that!?" Hawk snarled, clearly annoyed and filled with pained pride.

"Yeah!" Mintpaw said with a nod, chuckling. Then she stood up straight and hummed innocently, strutting along just in front of Hawk, unable to hold in a laugh when she saw how frustrated the tom looked.

Oddkit had bounded over to Soul's side, looking at Hawk every once in awhile since the group had gone silent.

The sun was at it's highest when they where back in a forest, loud roars not sounding far off.
Storm was about to give a call when Sun held her tail up, silencing him. She lowered her head and walked over to a bush. She snarled as she lashed out, making a ferret run out from the bush and towards the directions the roars came from.
"What the heck was that?" Sun spat, turning back and walking back to the group. She shook her head, "For now, we hunt and rest. We're going to have some patrols though, to make sure the area is safe for us to rest in. Soul and Dew, you two will find moss. Icepetal, can you join them please?"

Icepetal nodded and walked over to Soul and Dew. "Let's be going," she purred, smiling. "I'm sure everyone is eager to rest."
Dawnscar was obediently waiting a task while Mintpaw hopped up and asked, "I wanna go on a patrol!" Hollowpaw was quiet, and Burningsky was sniffing for prey, becoming irritated with the rumbling in her stomach.

Oddkit stayed beside Soul as he followed Dew, who decided she was leading the patrol. "I'll help carry moss!" she said.
"Hawk and I will lead area patrol, while Storm will do a hunting patrol. Hawk, you'll have Mintpaw with you. Burningsky and Dawnscar, you're hunting with Storm, bring back prey here before eating anything please. Hollowpaw, you're with me. Any objections?" Sun asked.

Icepetal chuckled at Oddkit. "Alright. it's always nice to have an extra paw, isn't it?"
"No objections," Dawnscar said, and he and Burningsky walked over to Storm. Burningsky looked happy with her assignment.
Mintpaw smiled and bounced over to Hawk. "Okay, sounds good to me!"
"I'm fine with this too," Hollowpaw confirmed as he joined Sun's side.

[Wolfstar]

Storm nodded to the two warriors and walked off with light paws, his ears and nose alert for prey.
"Let's get this over with," Hawk meowed, walking off with his head low.
Sun nodded to Hollowpaw, "Let's hope the prey and us are the only ones here in this forest." She flicked her tail and walked the opposite way Hawk had gone.

Dawnscar had his jaw parted slightly to take in scents, and Burningsky had already broken off to track a mouse.
Mintpaw shook her head. "Don't be like that, come on." She followed him with her head high, a smile on her face.
"Indeed," Hollowpaw agreed, senses alert as they padded further the trees.
