Darkness walked quietly with her pack as the wolves walked onto the meeting grounds. They were all a little hesitant, most of them anxious for the enigma that would reveal itself in this very gathering, the fourth pack that had made itself at home in the woods. Darkness was anticipating their arrival too, as she seated herself with everyone else.

He sat down with the other pack leaders, talking to them quietly.

And then, like a river made of of pure shadow, they arrived, filing into the clearing in the masses. There were a lot of them, and they moved in an extremely organized fashion, like one being made of of separate pieces, and gathered on one side of the area. They all looked a lot alike, but were vastly different from the wolves of the other packs, being larger, built thicker, with thick, heavy pelts and orange eyes. Each one of them had darkly coloured fur, with faint variations of shading, and occasionally some bore splotches of other colours but it was evidently rare. But one of them stood out clearly, and he would join the other alphas. "Greetings. My apologies for the tardiness. Getting everyone together was a chore." Dirius huffed tiredly and sat down. He was noticeably taller than the other alphas, even while sitting.
Darkness gulped, each hair on her body standing on edge.

Dirius nodded and turned to face his wolves. "Good. I want my pack to become accustomed to your traditions quickly. Hopefully they'll be intelligent enough to respect them," he replied to Bounce, giving a sneer. Many of the Vultures shied away, a few bowing their heads in a hurried display of respect. He sighed. He seemed somewhat weary, eyes flitting around lazily and paws shifting with effort.

(Eh, me either. Just wing it really, talk about whatever. I'll do the Cardinals' alpha first. I dug back into the beginning of this RP just to find his name XD)
Dirius, as he was unaware of the customs these wolves followed, remained silent from his place. He gave his wolves a few silent signals, warning them to listen closely and be respectful or they'd regret it.
Raising himself up, the thick-furred leader of the Cardinals spread his jaw in preparation to speak. He was a well-built wolf, with brown and grey fur. The hair on his muzzle looked to be losing his colour. He was growing old. But his amber eyes still held all the fire of a life containing many victories, many losses, and a world of experience. He had the eyes of a powerful, long-lived ruler. "Hello everyone. To you of the new pack, I am Faro, leader of the Cardinals. Welcome to our forest. I look forward to our future interactions." Then to everyone else, "Things have been relatively calm since our last get-together. We encountered some of the two-legs on the outskirts not long ago, but they were merely passing through. I believe that's all." He sat back down, falling quiet.

Bounce stood up next, "I am Bounce, leader of the Ravens, welcome to our forest." He took a moment before continuing. "Nothing has happened recently, everything has been peaceful. That's about it." He sat down, closing his muzzle shut.
