He jumped in surprise when the pine cone fell past him, landing on the ground with a gentle thud, grass rustling. He looked back up through the branches and started climbing the tree, stopping at the branch Jay was sitting. He couldn't get her attention through words so he simply waited for her to react.

She spotted Obscure from the corner of her eye. "Morning Obscure," she greeted.

Obscure nodded in greeting and sat beside her, looking at the ground. Then he turned to face her and tilted his head, asking how she was doing.

"I've been better, but I'm good. How are you?" She asked.

He shrugged, showing he was feeling alright. He gazed up at the sky, green eyes reflecting the sun, then back at her, not sure what else to do.
(Mute characters are so difficult to play. I have two, Obscure and one that isn't on this site. The other one is a god with telepathy, so much easier to play. XD)

(I wonder how it would be like if someone played as a mute and deaf character...or blind and mute, or all three...that would be horrible.)
She didn't say anything else, not sure what else to say.

(Mute characters are just the worst, they can't communicate at all. Blind characters are fairly easy on their own, and I've never actually played a deaf character...) He flicked his tail as the wind tickled his whiskers, gently pushing them around. He nodded to the sun and flicked his ears, smiling, then he gazed at her to see if she'd respond correctly.

"I'm guessing you're good?" She asked.

He shrugged, close enough. Then he nodded. He was in a pretty good mood, he decided as he flicked his tail.

She nodded and didn't say anything else.

He sighed silently when she went quiet. He really wished he could communicate easier than through gestures and expressions. There was so much he wanted to say and no way to say it.

Jay looked around, wondering what to do.

He turned away in thought. He'd like to do something with Jay. Perhaps he'd invite her hunting or something, but how?

She looked at the ground and tilted her head in thought.

He pondered over how he'd explain what he wanted to do, thinking out gestures in his head like he was planning a game of charades.

She glanced at him, then back at the ground.

He moved closer to her and prodded her with his tail to get her attention.

He thought, then gestured to the both of them and got into a hunting crouch, pouncing forward, careful not to fall off the branch as he did do.

Jay nodded, "Alright, lets hunt." With that, she climbed down the tree.
