Jay walked quietly, so she wouldn't scare any prey away.

He lightly flicked Jay's pelt with his tail when he caught the smell of squirrel. He gestured in the area it was coming from, dropping into a crouch.

Jay looked in the area he gestured to and did the same, walking forward quietly and carefully.

He saw the fluffy-tailed rodent scavenging at the base of a tree and glanced at Jay. Then he looked forward again, creeping towards it.

Jay nodded and crept to the side, ready to sprint if the critter ran.

He bunched his muscles and pounced forward, slamming a paw down on it's tail and trapping it. Then he killed it swiftly. He lifted it up, pleased.

Once she was close enough, she spotted a vole. Glancing back at Obscure for a moment, waiting for him to see the prey.
