"Hm. I guess you're right." He got an uncanny sense of deja vu, and remembered that Vezolth also had ill relationships with the others of his kind. He found it sad that this thing seemed to happen so often. "Well, you should enjoy it! Don't fight it, okay? He likes being around you, whether or not he's willing to accept it. I can tell. So get to know him. He'll let you in, I just know it!"

"He knows me in this form, not my main one," She wiped her eyes, trying not to cry again. "I'm not sure which form I'm going to accept now... I-I'm torn."

"I don't see what the big deal is. He's a shapeshifter too, isn't he? So why are you so concerned? Their types usually come to understand people in all their forms, because that's all they want in return." Abrevynen lay around her neck, his wings hanging in the air.

"He's a hunter by heart, and just seeing my pelt is rare enough in this forest." She sighed before climbing down and walking back home. "I need to mediate, or just sleep, this is getting to me in more ways than one." Kowara waved when she passed Vezolth, who waved his tail in response.

"Alright, that's probably a good idea. Maybe you'll know what to do afterwards," Abrevynen said in a cheery voice, following her by wing back to their home. He waved his paw in greeting to Vezolth as they passed.

"I'm not sure about that," she muttered, shifting back into a Kitsune as she entered her den. The thought of meditating after not doing it for months scared her, she didn't want to try and calm her mind, since she was trapped in it earlier today. "You may do whatever you wish, I don't really care." She went to her nest and curled up, setting the little orbs of light to dim and change colors. Kowara watched for a few minutes before hiding her head under her tails, falling asleep.
Vezolth continued his walk, looking around as he spotted small birds and other creatures.

Abrevynen decided to look around the den, peeping around at all of her things but careful not to touch anything.
Zilius was practising his archery, and found that his aim was quite a bit off from usual. His fifth shot in and he hadn't yet hit a bullseye.
Kouhane was gazing at the sky, wondering what it looked like.

Kowara was surprised when her dreams where empty, but she was happy about it. Her dreams where clear, and no nightmares could get to her. So, in her words, she was in a quiet, starry void where she could wander around.
Vezolth stopped and turned his head, watching arrows fly through the air before hitting a target. He slithered forward before spotting Zilius. "Hello there, sorry to interrupt you."

Zilius startled and let his arrow loose too early, and it landed in the dirt in front of his target. He turned sharply to look at Vezolth. "Oh. You. What is it?" he asked. His tone was brisk, but that was nothing unusual for him. He looked at the serpent from under his mask, where his expression was brooding.

"I-I just wanted to watch, if that's alright," he responded, slightly spooked. Vezolth kept his feathers down, trying not to show he was scared. "I decided to explore the forest, but watching arrows fly is more interesting in all honesty."

Zilius relaxed a little. He looked back over at the target and took another shot, his arrow landing a few inches off from the centre. "Fine," he said to Vezolth, and he walked over to the target to retrieve his arrows. He tucked them all back into his quiver and returned to his place. He aimed, fired, and struck just outside of the middle.

Vezolth laid down, somewhat mesmerized by how the arrows flew. He could tell, though, that the hunter wasn't happy with his aiming. The serpent kept quiet of it though.

Zilius relaxed with each shot he made and before long, he had begun to consistently hit the middle of his target with every shot, only missing by a few centimetres when he missed. Content, he disappeared into his house for a moment. When he returned he was holding a different target. It was attached to a string, and he tied the string around a branch, letting the wind push it around. Then he started shooting at it. His shots were less consistent, which was expected, but he was never more than a few inches out of his goal.

"How long have you done archery?" Vezolth asked quietly, hoping not to disturb the hunter once more. The serpent was scared enough when he first came here, and he didn't want to start fearing anyone yet.

Zilius didn't look away from his target and didn't pause in his shooting. "Ever since I had the strength to wield a bow, I've been using one. So, it's been many years."

He nodded, keeping his eyes on the bow and arrows. "I see.."

Zilius glanced briefly at Vezolth, then continued shooting. Each shot required a set of short calculations, mostly concerning the wind, especially now that his target moved, and then he released his arrow accordingly. If all went well, he hit the bullseye, or somewhere close.

Vezolth kept quiet from there on, even though he wanted to speak more.

Zilius glanced at Vezolth, sensing the unspoken words on the serpent's tongue. "If you want to talk, do it," he insisted before looking back at the target and firing another arrow.

He jumped at his words, before giving a small nod. "Y-you're mind is wandering, a-and you're trying to best to focus on your bow and arrow. What's the matter?"
