"I've always found them odd. They don't have any special powers or anything, I heard. Must be a boring life, phew!" He peeked at the den as it came into view. "Okay, shall we go inside?" He hopped to the ground and approached the entrance hesitantly. "Kowara?" He called. "Hey, we're back."

"Well, most humans think that we're just myths. Sometimes travelers come by and we have to hide so we won't be found out. They know how to entertain themselves." He poked his head into the den, finding that the kitsune's back was to them. "Think she's busy with something." "Haven't used clay in awhile," she muttered. Her paws were tucked underneath her as she used her magic to shape the dark colored clay.

His ears drooped. "Oh. I don't think we should bug her, then... What do you think?" He looked over at Vezolth. His expression was a little distraught. He wanted to hear the Quetzalcoatl's opinion.

"See what she's doing. Kowara hasn't moved all day, seeing her doing something is a good change." He jumped when Kowara made a noise, seeing her tails flick in unison.

Abrevynen nodded and walked over to Kowara to see what she was up to. "Hello," he mumbled, noticing the clay she was shaping. "Hm, what are you up to...?"

"Thought I'd tamper with life giving, so that's what I'm doing," She muttered. Vezolth looked over her shoulder, finding the design of what she was making odd. "Why? Isn't creating life not... You know?" He asked, receiving a snort from Kowara. "Don't play god? I'll do what I wish. It's just a small little guy anyway, what's it gonna do with its size?" She asked.

"Giving something life," Abrevynen murmured. He'd always found such a thought to be terribly frightening, but now that such an occurrence was right in front of him, he was too intrigued to complain. "What is it, anyway?" He peered closer at the little creation, giving it a sniff.

The clay model sparked a light blue, then started moving on its own. "Ask him yourself. Might not get an answer though," Kowara said. She prodded it with a paw, and saw it's red eyes and blue pupils. "Didn't think it would be this weird, but it's the first time I've done something like this."

Abrevynen jumped backwards when the figure sparked to life. "Oh!" he gasped. "Um, hello, little guy! What are you?" He asked it, leaning as close as he dared to get.

"How should I know?" The little creature hissed, receiving a sharp tap from Kowara. "Oi, be nice," She growled. It rubbed its muzzle, grumbling to itself. "Going to have to work with your attitude.."

Abrevynen's ears flattened when he was snapped at. "Ah... sorry," he mumbled in apology. "I guess I should have known better. Hm, but even if you don't know, what would you like to call yourself? Pick anything!"

The creature looked at its paws, finding them sparking a little bit. "I'd go with... Noir." He stood, taking a few steps before turning to Kowara, then to Vezolth. "Hello there." "Hi," The serpent returned the greeting.

"Noir, wow! That's a nice name," Abrevynen complimented. He looked at Vezolth. "What do you think of him?" he asked, keeping the creature in sight to see what it did next, and watching Kowara to see if she might do anything.

"It's different, but interesting," Vezolth replied, simply shrugging. Noir turned back to Kowara, bopping her nose with his paws. She snorted, rolling her eyes in slight amusement.

Abrevynen climbed up onto Kowara's back and looked at Noir from the top of her head, feeling safe from this perch. "I am Abrevynen, by the way. I'm Kowara's friend, mhm!"

"You're also linked to her, from what I can see." Noir mumbled when Kowara bopped him again. Vezolth went to his nest, curling up and watching where he laid.

Abrevynen nodded. "Good observation! You're an interesting creature, aren't you?" He smiled appraisingly. "No surprise, seeing as Kowara created you. She has no end of magical abilities from what I've seen."

Kowara muttered to herself, then whispered something to Noir. He seemed to brighten up at this, and pondered for a moment before dashing off. "Where's he going?" Vezolth asked. "Nowhere that you should know of," the kitsune retorted.

"Hm, I could search your mind to see what you asked of him, but I think it's more fun to wait and see!" Abrevynen hummed. Then he thought for a few moments and a thoughtful frown appeared on his face. "Unless I'll never find out, then that's a different story. I might have to do a bit of prying then!"

"If you're interested to know, why don't you just follow?" She suggested, putting the excess clay away. Vezolth stayed where he was, staying quiet.
