Abrevynen shook his head. "No, I was just asking. I can't believe her soul is in there," he murmured, amazed as he looked at the orb. "Do you need any help?"

"Make sure our tracks are gone, and see if anyone's following us. Being found out is still a problem," He replied quietly, letting his tail drag against the forest floor once more.

Abrevynen nodded and set about doing as he was told. He made sure not a trace was left and then kept on the lookout to ensure that they weren't being tailed.

Noir let the fins on his shoulders glow, giving him light in the dark forest. "I should visit the forest at night more often, who knows what could be awake now."

"Kinda creeps me out to be honest," Abrevynen responded, shaking his head. "The beasts come out when the moon rises. I think I'm more afraid of evil things now than I was when I was younger, honestly. Wonder how that happened?"

"You're linked to a being that be killed of evil things, fearing for their life and your own. It's no wonder you're scared of them," Noir muttered, his eyes lighting up at the sight of the hut.

"Hm, I suppose you're right," Abrevynen agreed. He lifted his head when the hut came into view. "Almost there... I wonder how this is all going to turn out?"

"Now we need to find a spot to put this, now that's the hard part. How are we going to get this in the hut anyway?" He stopped in front of hut, muttering to himself.

Abrevynen peeked into the hut. "What if the hunter himself catches us?" he asked. He couldn't see any movement inside, which meant he had to be either sleeping or out somewhere. He crept inside, and indeed, Zilius was nowhere to be seen. "He's not here right now, so we have some time to figure out where to put it at least. Let's just hope he won't be back anytime soon."

Noir nodded, letting his light fade as he entered the hut. "Someplace that'll be hidden unless he looks there. Is there a compartment anywhere?"

Abrevynen climbed onto one of the shelves. "There's a basket here," he said, placing his forepaws on the edge so he could look inside. "Looks like spare arrows. Think that'll work?"

"That will, see if you can help me bring it up." He raised his arms, trying to raise the sphere as high as he could. "Longer arms would be good, but I guess my height will have to do."

Abrevynen flew underneath the orb and pushed it steadily upwards, grunting at the effort it took to move it through the air. Luckily, he didn't have much further to go. He reached the basket's height and gently rolled the sphere inside, then huffed and returned to Noir. "There, got it."

"Good, now lets get out of here. I'm sure the hunter wouldn't like us snooping around here if he decides to come back." Without another word, he went outside and into the shadows. The usual spark showing where he was.

Abrevynen made himself invisible without another word and made his way back to Kowara's den. "I wonder when he'll notice that it's there," he murmured.

Noir crawled out of the shadows when they made it back to the den. "Soon possibly, it is a dark maroon color," He replied quietly, entering the place and going to the fruit basket. Going inside it, he covered himself with the cloth he used earlier. "Anyway, good night."

Abrevynen nodded. "Sleep well!" he hummed before laying at Kowara's side and laying his head on his paws. it didn't take him long to doze off.
(Time skip, next day? I can start.)

Zilius woke up at dawn, as he always did. It was good to wake early and go on his morning hunt while the daytime prey was still drowsy, much like how his night time hunt gave him the advantage over the nocturnal beasts who were only just awakening as the moon rose. He picked up his quiver and sighed. "Hunting's been so slow, I never realized how few arrows I had left in here," he mumbled to himself. He strode over to a shelf and curled his fingers around the handles of a basket. As he lifted it, he stumbled a bit, not expecting it to have the weight it did. It was typically quite light. Arrows weren't the heaviest objects in the world. So, he glanced inside to see if anything was amiss and spotted a strange sphere sitting among his arrows. He stared for a few moments, then set the basket down so that he could remove the strange sphere. He lifted it up and sat it on the table that sat in one corner of the hut. "Where did this come from, now?" he wondered to himself, sliding a finger across the smooth surface. Then he decided he could study it later. He still had hunting to do.
Meanwhile, Abrevynen slept in that morning.

Kowara woke up with a jolt, hearing Noir talk to Vezolth as they ate some fruit. She stood and stretched, deciding to check her wares. From what she saw, blades, arrowheads, paintings, or anything of value was still here. With a shrug, she went over to the fruit basket, only to stop when she was about to grab an apple. Usually, she kept her orb by it, seeing as it was covered by a cloth and the shadow of the basket itself. Pushing the basket aside, and looked for it, her search becoming more drastic when she found nothing. "Who took it?" She exclaimed, making the two jump and look at her in confusion.
