Kouhane chuckled, having seemingly relaxed. "What were you going to say, boy angel?" She asked, approaching Max.
Zilius grumbled, uncomfortably pulling at the edge of the skull he wore. "Fair enough... Ms. Kitsune." He had figured out what exactly seemed off about the woman. "I passed by your home earlier, did I not?"

Kouhane rolled her blank eyes. "Alright then, feathers. Your name is Max, right? And the girl is Crystal. Now, your appearance... You have brown hair, right? Blue eyes? Crystal's hair is red." There was a challenging light in the blind bird's dull grey eyes, which were fixed on Max.
Zilius huffed. "I'm not bold. I take care of my own hide, unlike some reckless creatures. I don't like taking chances."

Kouhane tilted her head. "I don't know what would make you think I'm lying." She walked over to him, bumping into him by accident. She gave an indignant caw and edged back a step before looking Max in the eye. "My eyes are useless. Look at them. I only know because my species possesses strong magical instinct."
Zilius wasn't sure what the Kitsune was attempting to accomplish. He looked at her through hidden eyes. "Sorry to disappoint you. Anyway, I ought to be going. I have a bow to fashion."

Abrevynen, still invisible, flew over to Kowara and landed on her head. 'Yep!'
