Abrevynen flicked his tail. 'I think there might be others nearby,' he told her telepathically.

Abrevynen had made himself invisible, but Kowara could still see him fine. He sat atop the kitsune's head and peered over the bush. 'Ooh, I see them!'

She flicked her ears in acknowledgement, and forced her eye color to change just to match the bushes around her. 'I hear them, but I don't want them to spot me. Silver and crimson doesn't match with dark green. Who do you see?'
