"Keep laughing, once my wing is fixed, I'll be dropping and tossing you in the sky," he growled, finishing his apple and crushing the core in his hand. L looked up at the sky as he walked, wondering if he could find a creature. Looking back down, he grabbed a book and searched through it, trying to find a map. When he did, he cursed under his breath.

May's eyes went wide and she beamed. "Really, you'd do that? That sounds awesome!" she chirped, doing an excited little hop. "Heal quick, I wanna go skydiving off of a flippin' dragon's back! You should try and throw me into a cloud!" She didn't notice his quiet curse, too busy imagining how awesome it would be to suddenly be dropped from such a great height. "Oh, I mean, as long as you're planning to catch me before, y'know, I break my neck. And probably all of my other bones, actually. I won't look nearly as wonderful when my insides are on display for the world to see, and you wouldn't want that."

"Well it's going to have to wait. The nearest town is about a week away, and the next water source is two days away. Out of all times, I'm actually going to have to get help. I rather not risk infection." L stopped and grabbed a sapphire orb, growling when he found that he could only call one friend. If he could call that person a friend. "Great, only the vampire is available. Splendid!" sarcasm soaked his words as he called the friend. Soon enough, he put the orb away and sat down. "Looks like we're taking a leap towards, what you know as, Romania."

May watched silently, unsure what to say as the grumbling, growling L looked at the orb. "Allllrighty. What was that about vampires just now?" She eyed his orb as he put it away, sitting opposite him on the grass. "Do I even want to know? You don't sound happy about it, but I don't think I've ever seen you happy, so I wouldn't know." She rolled her eyes.

L looked up at her, crossing his arms. "He's a dragon as well, but a different kind. He had many siblings, so when he was young and living through winter, he had to drink blood to survive. Now he has a knack for that, and it a literal vampire. He still eats other foods, but blood is something he still loves to drink. His name is last name is Crimson, but he goes by that." He looked up at the sky again. "He's also bubbly and friendly, something I don't really like since it gets annoying quickly. But he's the only contact I had that's available."

"Okay. Vamp dragon. That sounds terrifying, I wanna meet him. I get the odd feeling we'll get along. Oh! Unless he tries to kill me or drink my blood or something. Vampires sucking blood can be hot and all in movies and stuff, but in real life, that's a no-go." May shook her head, rubbing her neck as she imagined how much it would hurt to be attacked by a vampire. "But if he's as bubbly as you say, I'm sure we'll make fine friends. We'll have something in common right off the bat, you find us both annoying." She gave L a pat on the head, like she was silently saying, 'Have fun!'

"He has blood packs-" He cut off as he stood up, looking annoyed. "We'll have something in common right of the bat. Was that a damn pun?" He asked, annoyed even more at the situation. He heard puns before, but the one he just heard was just bad. L didn't notice a blood red dragon quietly landing a few meters behind May. The dragon tilted his head at the two, laying down as he listened.

May started laughing hard when her pun was pointed out. "Haha! I didn't even mean for that to happen, whew! Oh, I'm so proud of myself~!" She clutched her stomach and blinked away the tears of amusement that had formed as the laughing fit faded. "Don't you just love me for that? I do. Oh boy." She sighed, squishing her cheeks together and stretching her jaw to ease the pain. "I'm sorry. Kinda." Then she turned her head away and under her breath, she murmured, "I'm gonna have to make more vampire puns..." She too had failed to notice the dragon that was watching the interaction.

"I have to live with this, why does with world hate me too.."
"Actually, that's just coincidence." L looked up to see the dragon walking towards them, looking amused. His large fangs seemed to shine, along with his crimson scales. L growled at the dragon, who just chuckled in response. "Also, L, who knew you'd be with a human! Don't you know what the elders would do if they found out?"
"I know the consequences Crimson, so shut your jaws."
"Come on L, we're magic buddies! Potion friends, come on!" The dragon looked down at May, lowering his head to her height. "And who might this unique human be? It's not often a human gets on L's nerves. Dragons though? Very much so!"

May looked up at Crimson and gave him a big smile. "Oh, hey there, Vamp-bro! I'm May, and I'll show you about humans getting on his nerves! It's kinda my thing." Laughing, she got into a boastful stance. "I bet can be even more of a pain in the neck than you are!" She looked over her shoulder at L and winked. Then she said, "Nice meetin' you! Let's be friends." She took to him quite quickly considering he was a giant vampiric dragon, whose entire race had a grudge against her kind. But May was May and that was just how May was.

"You're interesting! Most humans would back up and stare at my fangs, but you!" He smiled happily. "You're eccentric! I'm Crimson, but you may call you what you wish!" Crimson watched as L walked towards him, grumbling under his breath.
"Lets get to your home and my wings sowed, before I decide to take matters into my own claws," L climbed up onto Crimson's back, growling when his friend laughed.

"Alright! I'm just gonna keep calling you Vamp-bro, then!" With that matter settled, she followed L and climbed onto Crimson's back, struggling a little to get a firm hold on his scales, but she managed. She sat behind L and held on, adding, "I've seen way too much these past few days, a big ol' lizard like you doesn't faze me much." Then she pointed up and said, "Now let's fly! I'm so excited!"

"Then hold on tight!" Crimson called, jumping up and flapping his wings. In a matter of moments, he was airborne and flying home. "So, how did you come to Drageria, May? You don't seem like the one to use magic, no offence." He kept his gaze ahead as he flew, but he did look back a couple of times. L kept silent throughout the whole thing.

May clung on to Crimson's scales and let out an enthusiastic shout as they took off and became airborne. She was almost too busy admiring the land below and the sky around them that she didn't hear the question. "Drageria, huh? Well, I'm not really sure how I got here, actually. You're completely right, magic is not one of my many specialities, sadly. It just kinda happened. I was in my world, and then bam, here I am, lost in a freakin' forest and getting attacked by stuff. It was a rather unpleasant way to start my day, I must say." Puns and rhymes, she had them all. She giggled.

Crimson chuckled as well, gliding as he relaxed. "You may be able to learn a few things, if you'd like that is. You can learn a lot of things at my home, learn to make potions and remedies-!"
"Don't give her any ideas," L growled out, crossing his arms. His pupils became slits when the dragon laughed at this.
"It's her decision overall, L. Also, does May even know your real name? L isn't really a natural name, neither is you-know-who, but still!" Crimson asked, only to chuckle when L slammed his fist into his back.

May watched the two of them interact, unable to hold in her laughter at how grumpy L was. "Oh, stop being so mean, or I'll start calling you Crabbyclaws." She bopped him on the back of his head with her palm. "Besides, he's right. It is my decision, and I decide that learning stuff would be awesome!" Then her brain honed in on the comment about L's real name and she raised her brow, leaning forward. "Oh? Your real name, huh? No, I have no idea what it is!" She waited for Crimson to look at her and then she smiled deviously. "Maybe you could tell me?"

Crimson was about to say it, when he felt claws on the back of his neck and a threatening glare. "I don't think I can, I'm not sure I even remember." When L sighed, closing his eyes, Crimson looked back and winked at May. He also mouthed the words: 'I'll tell you later in private.' The vampiric (this is how you spell it, stop telling me it isn't computer!) dragon never thought he would be having fun with a human.

May struggled to hide her eager, and very amused smile. "Oh, you forget? That's a shame, I really was curious," she said in a disappointed tone, lowering her head. "Oh well. I guess he shall be forever known as Crabbyclaws." She leaned back again, enjoying the rare feeling of wind whooshing through her colourful hair, sending streaks of blue and purple and blonde waving in the air.

"If you're brave, I say check out the view below. We're flying over a village right about now!" Crimson said, flying a bit lower as he neared his home. He looked down, seeing some large, colorful spots moving below. "The crops and trade looks like it's going well. That's good! Also, welcome to my country!" He kept in the urge to do a spin as he continued flying, knowing that doing it without a heads up wouldn't work well. Especially with a grumpy Nordic on his back.

May looked down at the village below, gaping at the marvellous sight. "Oh, wow, this is awesome! I've been in planes before, and on some pretty big amusement park rides, but those have nothing on this!" She watched as the land underneath them bustled with activity, colours and shapes gliding by as Crimson flew.
